Nothing about this was a business plan at first. Alan and Matt just liked the same thing, for long enough that it eventually became one.
Cards were never a side interest for Alan and Matt. They were the thing the two of them did together: opening packs, building sets, comparing stats. The kind of hobby that eats an evening without either of you noticing.
Somewhere in there it turned into a dream they both said out loud: “Let’s run a sports card business.” It took twenty years to get there. Father Son Card Connection is that dream, put into practice.
We run primarily online. Baseball, basketball, football and hockey move through the eBay store, with over 12,000 items sold at 100% positive feedback. There's no walk-in storefront, but you can find us in person at card shows around Fort Wayne.
We buy directly from collectors, vintage and modern, single cards and full collections, and we consign for people who'd rather list with us than sell outright.
